Work-Based Learning Coordinator
Due to exciting growth and expansion, we are now offering new Work -Based Learning opportunities in various locations!
Brandywine School District, Glasgow High School, and Christiana High School
Work- Based Learning Coordinators achieve:
- Build and sustain an innovative and effective career readiness program to ensure that high school students have the skills to compete in the 21st century local and global job market.
- Increase graduation completion rate
- Coordinate engaging Career and Technical Education (CTE) instruction through a variety of methods including workshops, seminars, and on-the job training experiences, career fairs.
- Establish opportunities for local businesses to train students as prospective employees.
- Prepare and provide students with opportunities for informational interviews, job shadowing, mock interviews and industry-led projects.
- Work closely with teachers and academic departments in supporting integration between classroom and work-based learning.
- Market Co-Op opportunities to students
- Counsel and Coach students on WBL guidelines

Leading the way since 1978, Jobs for Delaware Graduates, Inc. (JDG) is a school-to-work readiness program, dedicated to helping youth reach their full potential. With focus on academic and economic success, our program exposes middle and high school students to emerging careers and higher levels of education and training.
