Work from home Web Software Developer

Develop Web-based and AI ready software for GreenCitizen workforce in the United States. This is a full-time contract position. GreenCitizen has over 25 full-time employees and growing in the San Francisco Bay Area. Only need two to three hours of overlap time with US for Google meet meetings, the rest of time on software development can be hours that are best for you. (Our curren software developer in Taiwan meet with managers in the US PST 4:00PM to 6 PM, which is 7 AM to 9 AM Taiwan time the next day. M-Thursday US time.)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Contribute to web-based products

2. Collaborate with a senior engineer to improve system architecture

3. Collaborate with a senior engineer to migrate system into cloud-based in the

future

4. Continuously refine functionality based on business requirement

5. Continuously refine the UI based on product owner opinions

Required Qualifications:

1. Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

2. Experience with Python backend development

3. Strong understanding of Single Page Applications (SPA) concepts

4. Fluent in english communication

5. Excellent problem-solving, logical reasoning, and communication skills

6. Experience with connection of 3’rd party APIs

7. Must be able to have Google meet calls with US staff in the San Francisco Bay Area for minimum of three hours a day. (The rest of hours can be software development time in Taiwan time.) Our staff in the SF Bay Area works 8 Am to 6 PM PST.

Plus:

1. Familiar with eBay related operation, or can learn

2. Familiar with Zoho platform(especially of creator APIs), or can learn

3. Passionate about the AI technology and try to integrate into daily processes

4. Passionate about learning new technologies to help a socially responsible environmental company.
