Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant

Key Responsibilities :

- Configure and maintain Workday Adaptive Planning models for budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and financial planning.

- Gather business requirements and translate them into effective planning models and functional solutions.

- Design and develop planning models, dashboards, reports, and financial analytics to support business decision-making.

- Build and maintain integrations between Workday Adaptive Planning, Workday Financials, Workday HCM, and other enterprise systems.

- Support end-to-end implementations, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, data loading, UAT, and go-live.

- Develop and maintain financial models, planning assumptions, calculations, and forecasting methodologies.

- Troubleshoot planning model issues, resolve data discrepancies, and provide ongoing production support.

- Optimize existing planning processes and models to improve accuracy, efficiency, and usability.

- Collaborate with finance, HR, and business stakeholders to align planning solutions with organizational requirements.

- Prepare functional documentation, model specifications, and user guides.

- Conduct user training and provide best-practice guidance to finance and business teams.

- Support system updates, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Hands-on experience with Workday Adaptive Planning implementation, configuration, or support.

- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and financial planning processes.

- Experience designing and maintaining planning models, reports, dashboards, and financial analytics.

- Knowledge of financial modelling, planning methodologies, calculations, and business assumptions.

- Experience with data loading, data validation, and integrations with Workday HCM, Workday Financials, or other enterprise systems.

- Understanding of end-to-end implementation activities, including testing, UAT, and go-live support.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with end-to-end Workday Adaptive Planning implementations.

- Exposure to finance transformation, enterprise performance management (EPM), or workforce planning projects.

- Familiarity with financial reporting, data integration, and planning process automation.

- Workday Adaptive Planning certification is an advantage.
