Workday Developer - HR application & Workday Studio
Summary
Develops and maintains Workday HR integrations using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and APIs, with a focus on JSON/XML payloads, OAuth 2.0, and Agile methodologies.
- Develops and manages Integrations using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Payroll Connectors, and Custom Reports.
- Good knowledge in API and understands OPEN API specification. Knows how to integrate other systems using API technology and different payload formats like JSON and XML.
Basic understandability of Oauth2.0 - Development and Support experience in Workday Studio.
- Stay up to date with Workday application best practices and industry trends to optimize development efforts.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Workday applications, including design specifications, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
Necessary Experience
- Having over 3+ years of experience in Workday HR applications and Workday Studio is must.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or relevant field of study
- Possesses extensive knowledge and experience in modern workday applications development scripts (JSON, Javascript, Web Services, XML, XSLT).
Core Technical Competencies
- Strong understanding of EIB, Core Connectors, Studio and integration related tools.
- Strong understanding of Reports, Workday Security and Integration production support.
- Strong understanding of business processes
- In-depts knowledge of utilizing RaaS into workday applications.
- Strong understanding of Workday architecture and customization capabilities Extensive knowledge of web service technologies REST SOAP JSON XML and authentication and authorization methods
OAuth 2.0 authentication mechanisms - Knowledge of Workday HR core modules and their integration points
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to code in some of the following programming languages: Java, .NET, or JavaScript
