We are looking for a Workday Finance Functional Consultant to implement,
configure, and support Workday Financials modules. The role involves working
closely with finance and business stakeholders to understand requirements and
deliver effective Workday solutions aligned with financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead
or support implementation and configuration of Workday Financials modules
(GL, AP, AR, Procurement, Expenses, Fixed Assets).
- Gather
and analyze business requirements from finance stakeholders.
- Translate
business needs into functional specifications and Workday configurations.
- Configure
business processes, accounting rules, and financial reporting structures.
- Support
data migration, testing (SIT/UAT), and deployment activities.
- Provide
post-implementation support and enhancements.
- Collaborate
with technical teams for integrations and reporting needs.
- Ensure
compliance with financial standards and internal controls.
- Conduct
end-user training and prepare documentation.
Requirements
- 3–7
years of experience in Workday Financials or ERP Finance consulting.
- Strong
functional knowledge of finance processes (Record-to-Report,
Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash).
- Hands-on
experience with Workday Financial modules:
- General
Ledger (GL)
- Accounts
Payable (AP)
- Accounts
Receivable (AR)
- Procurement
/ Expenses
- Experience
in at least one full lifecycle Workday implementation.
- Strong
stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Problem-solving
and analytical mindset.
Preferred Skills:
- Workday
Financials certification.
- Experience
with Workday integrations and reporting.
- Knowledge
of Prism Analytics or Adaptive Planning.
- Prior
experience in consulting or client-facing roles.
