Workday Finance Operate Support Consultant
Summary
Provides day-to-day production support for Workday Finance, covering customer accounts/accounts receivable, validation of migrated financial data, troubleshooting of transactions, integrations and EIBs, and support for month-end close, releases and testing cycles. Requires 3-4+ years of Workday Finance production support experience.
Role Overview :
We are seeking a Workday Finance Operate Support Consultant with 3 - 4+ years of experience supporting Workday Finance in production environments. This role involves providing day-to-day functional support across various financial processes.
Responsibilities :
- Provide day-to-day functional support across Customer Accounts and Accounts Receivable processes, preferably in post-go-live or migration support scenarios.
- Validate migrated customer master data, contracts, invoices, receipts, settlements, billing transactions, and account balances.
- Monitor and troubleshoot transactions, business processes, integrations, configuration issues, and access-related concerns within Workday Finance.
- Investigate incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate resolutions with both functional and technical teams.
- Troubleshoot and test integrations and EIBs (Enterprise Interface Builders), including data mapping, error handling, reprocessing, and downstream interfaces.
- Support month-end close activities, Workday releases, system enhancements, testing cycles, deployments, and post-production validation.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to enhance system stability, controls, documentation, and overall performance.
- Communicate incidents, potential risks, impacts, status updates, and recommended actions effectively to all relevant stakeholders.
Required Qualifications :
- 3 - 4+ years of experience supporting Workday Finance in production environments.
- Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Workday certification is preferred.
