Workday Finance QA Lead

Lead QA and testing for Workday Finance implementation and integrations, ensuring financial data accuracy, end-to-end process validation, defect resolution, and release readiness.

Required Skills & Experience

• 712+ years of QA/testing experience, including test leadership.
• Understanding of Workday Finance and ERP business processes; hands-on Workday experience preferred.
• Strong integration, E2E, API, data validation, and financial reconciliation testing skills.
• Experience in test planning, defect management, Jira, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
• Working knowledge of test automation concepts and risk-based testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Strategy: Define test plans, scope, coverage, quality gates, and Go/No-Go criteria.
• Functional Testing: Coordinate testing across AP, AR, Customer Contracts, Banking, Projects, Assets, Expenses, Prism Analytics, and Adaptive Planning.
• Integration & E2E Testing: Validate Workday integrations with MuleSoft, EBS, Magento, PIM, MAE, and other in-scope applications.
• Data Validation: Verify data mappings, financial transactions, reconciliations, and source-to-target data accuracy.
• Test & Defect Management: Track execution, manage defects, coordinate retesting, and report testing progress.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with business users, functional consultants, developers, and implementation partners.
• Release Readiness: Manage risks, dependencies, test completion reports, and cutover/post-go-live validation.

Key Deliverables

• QA strategy and test plan.
• Test scenarios, test cases, and requirements traceability matrix (RTM).
• Test data and environment readiness tracker.
• Execution dashboards, defect reports, and reconciliation evidence.
• SIT/E2E/regression completion reports.
• Release-readiness assessment, Go/No-Go recommendation, and cutover validation support.
