Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Workday Finance Test Lead to lead QA and testing activities for Workday Financials implementations and integrations. The candidate should have strong experience in ERP testing, integration testing, end-to-end validation, financial data reconciliation, and test leadership.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in QA/testing, including test leadership.
• 4+ years of experience in Workday Financials.
• Strong understanding of Workday Finance modules and ERP business processes.
• Hands-on experience in functional, integration, SIT, E2E, API, and regression testing.
• Experience in financial data validation, data mapping, and reconciliation.
• Knowledge of Workday integrations with MuleSoft, EBS, Magento, PIM, MAE, or other applications.
• Experience in test planning, test strategy, defect management, and test reporting.
• Working knowledge of Jira, test automation concepts, and risk-based testing.
• Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Define test strategies, test plans, scope, coverage, and quality gates.
• Lead functional testing across AP, AR, Customer Contracts, Banking, Projects, Assets, Expenses, Prism Analytics, and Adaptive Planning.
• Manage integration and end-to-end testing across Workday and connected applications.
• Validate financial transactions, data mappings, reconciliations, and source-to-target data accuracy.
• Coordinate test execution, defect tracking, retesting, and progress reporting.
• Collaborate with business users, functional consultants, developers, and implementation partners.
• Manage testing risks, dependencies, release readiness, and cutover validation.
• Provide Go/No-Go recommendations based on testing outcomes.

Key Deliverables

• QA strategy and test plans.
• Test scenarios, test cases, and Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
• Test data and environment readiness reports.
• Execution dashboards and defect reports.
• SIT, E2E, and regression testing completion reports.
• Release-readiness assessment and cutover validation.
