Workday Financial Management Consultant

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end Workday Financials implementations, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and go-live support.

- Configure and maintain Workday Financial Management modules to meet business and finance requirements.

- Design and maintain financial business processes, security roles, reports, and integrations with third-party systems.

- Provide ongoing production support, troubleshoot system issues, and implement functional enhancements.

- Collaborate with finance stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective Workday configurations and recommend best practices.

- Support financial process optimization, system improvements, and operational efficiency initiatives.

- Configure and support financial reporting, data validation, and reconciliation activities.

- Conduct functional testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and defect resolution.

- Prepare functional documentation, configuration guides, and process documentation.

- Deliver user training and support change management activities to ensure successful system adoption.

- Support Workday releases, updates, and continuous system optimization.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Hands-on experience implementing, configuring, or supporting Workday Financials.

- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and enterprise financial management processes.

- Knowledge of Workday Financial Management modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Management, Cash Management, and Financial Planning.

- Experience with Workday business process configuration, security roles, and financial reporting.

- Understanding of Workday integrations with third-party financial and enterprise systems.

- Experience with requirements gathering, functional testing, UAT, and production support.

- Ability to translate finance business requirements into scalable and effective Workday solutions.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience leading end-to-end Workday Financials implementation projects.

- Exposure to finance transformation and process improvement initiatives.

- Experience with third-party integrations, financial data migration, and reconciliation.

- Workday Financial Management certification is an advantage.
