Workforce Planning Analyst

Summary

Analyzes workforce data to forecast demand, optimize staffing, and support operational decisions in a fintech environment. Uses tools like Excel, Power BI, and SQL to build models, dashboards, and insights for business leaders.

Chief Operations Office (COO) is responsible for servicing multiple product and business within the Group internationally, delivering a highly flexible operations environment, outstanding customer experiences and better risk outcomes. This is achieved through end-to-end process management, use of innovative new technologies and a cross-skilled, capable workforce.

The Workforce Planning team provides workforce planning, forecasting, resource modelling, and analytics capability across Business Institutional and Market Operations (BIMO). The team partners with operational leaders and enabling functions to align workforce supply with business demand, customer outcomes, risk priorities and transformation activity.

The team supports short, medium and long-range planning through structured workforce models, data-driven insights, governance routines and continuous improvement of workforce planning practices.

Do work that matters
As a BIMO Workforce Planning Analyst, you will support strategic operations by maintaining workforce planning models, analysing demand and capacity, preparing workforce insights and contributing to planning decisions that improve operational performance. You will help translate workforce data into clear, practical recommendations for stakeholders.

You will work closely with Operational Teams inclusive of Executive Manager, Senior Manager and Team Manager in relation to plan for Operations. You will operationalize resource plans to meet customer demand and service obligations. You will partner closely with Operations Leaders in making changes, adjustments or diversions from the plan.

  • Deliver accurate forecasts, capacity plans and resource recommendations that support business objectives and operational performance.
  • Develop, maintain and improve planning models that provide reliable demand, capacity and resourcing insights.
  • Collect, analyse and interpret data from multiple sources to identify trends, risks and opportunities, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Design and maintain dashboards, visualisations and reporting solutions that enable stakeholders to make informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Support Resource Planning Meetings (RPMs), governance forums and planning cycles through the delivery of accurate forecasts, plans and performance insights.
  • Partner with stakeholders to assess business impacts, develop planning scenarios and provide recommendations that support effective decision making.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the businesses you support, providing expertise on demand, capacity, recruitment requirements and operational risks.
  • Maintain accurate FTE records, data integrity and governance standards, ensuring planning outputs are reliable, compliant and auditable.
  • Drive continuous improvement through the effective use of technology, analytics, automation and best practice planning methodologies.

We’re interested in hearing from people who have

  • 3+ years' experience in Workforce Planning, Forecasting and Workforce Analytics,
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability,
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills,
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Verint WFM, or other workforce management technologies is highly regarded.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and interpersonal skills,
  • Strong planning, organisational and prioritisation skills,
  • High attention to detail and commitment to governance,
  • Customer-focused and solutions-oriented mindset,
  • Understanding of workforce management and operational environments, (back-office operations
  • Market operation experience highly regarded
  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications would be advantageous (Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Data science, Commerce, Business Management).
