Working Student – Communications, Social Media & Marketing (f/m/d)
TYTAN Technologies
At TYTAN, we aim to set a global standard in autonomous air defense with AI-driven, cost-efficient systems that counter unmanned aerial threats at scale. We protect people. We protect critical infrastructure. We protect Europe’s sovereignty.
We are looking for a Working Student to join our Growth team and support everything TYTAN communicates outward — across social media, press, and marketing. You will sit at the point where our technology becomes a public message, and you will help shape how TYTAN is seen by media, by the public, and by decision-makers in politics and defence.
Everything we publish is read by journalists, ministries, investors, and competitors. We are looking for someone with the editorial instinct — and the discretion — to work at that level.
Your Roadmap to Make an Impact
Social Media: Run the day-to-day of TYTAN’s LinkedIn channel. Draft and schedule posts, maintain the editorial calendar, manage the comment section, and keep our voice consistent across every publication.
Content Production: Turn material from flight tests, the production floor, and events into publishable content — short-form video, photography, and graphics — in line with our corporate identity and our filming and photography policy.
Media Monitoring: Track coverage of TYTAN, of our competitors, and of the wider Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) and defence-policy debate. Prepare clippings and resonance analyses the team can act on.
Press Support: Support press work end to end: maintain journalist contact lists, help prepare briefings and one-pagers, and assist in coordinating interviews and incoming inquiries.
Events: Support our presence at trade fairs, conferences, and stakeholder formats in Munich, Berlin, and Brussels — from content preparation in advance to live coverage on the day.
Marketing Assets: Help produce and maintain outward-facing collateral, including website copy, newsletters, the media kit, and campaign materials.
Performance: Report on channel performance, identify what works, and bring your own proposals for what we should do differently.
Currently enrolled as a student (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Communications, Media, Marketing, Journalism, Political Science, International Relations, or a related field
Demonstrable hands-on social media skill — you have run channels yourself and can show us the work, not only describe it
Excellent writing: you produce clean, publishable copy that needs editing, not rewriting
Business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken
Editorial judgement and discretion: you understand that in defence and politics a single careless post becomes a problem for the entire company, and you know what not to publish
Genuine interest in security and defence policy and in the political debate around European sovereignty
Confident with content and design tools (e.g. Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, LinkedIn analytics, scheduling and video editing tools)
Availability of approximately 20 hours per week during the semester, on-site in Munich, for a minimum of six months
