Working Student Fluid Systems Design (m/w/d)

Summary

Assist engineers in designing and documenting ground fluid systems for rocket launches and testing, including piping diagrams and hardware specs, while maintaining parts catalogs and engineering tools.

Your Mission

As a member of the Ground Fluid Systems Team, you will be assisting the team in the design and project work around ground facilities used for launching rockets, testing rocket engines or other components of the launch vehicle.

More specifically, you will:

  • Assist engineers in a wide range of fluid system design tasks
  • Prepare technical documentation such as Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams and hardware specification lists
  • Maintain and expand a catalog of parts used across our fluid system facilities
  • Create templates, documents, or calculation tools to support our internal engineering workflows

Who you are and what you have

  • Currently enrolled in your BSc/MSc studies in aerospace/chemical/energy/mechanical/process engineering or similar
  • Knowledge of thermodynamics and fluid mechanics
  • Basic understanding of fluid systems (process equipment, piping, control & automation)
  • Passionate about new space, curious and eager to learn
  • Can-do attitude and desire to go out of your way to help others
  • Humility and outstanding communication skills
  • Eager to take ownership and accountability for your own actions and mistakes
  • Fluent in English
