Brief Role Description
As a working student, you will be part of an international support team focused on developing scripts in a DevOps environment. The team is located within Quality Assurance and supports all development projects at Volkswagen Infotainment GmbH.

Possible Tasks within this Role
Script Development in a DevOps Environment with Responsibilities in the Following Areas:
- Maintenance and enhancement of various Python scripts
- Development of modules for data collection from multiple sources, data processing, and storage in SQL databases
- Development of scripts and modules for data analysis and visualization
- Validation of scripts through the implementation of automated tests
- Design and use of CI/CD pipelines to automate development activities (e.g., test execution, Docker image creation, and documentation generation)
- Automation of processes and regular system checks using CI/CD pipelines
- Participation in the source code review process
- Working with Python package management tools such as Poetry, pip, and virtual environments
Qualification requirements
- Ongoing studies in a technical field or a comparable degree program
- Excellent programming skills in Python
- Proficiency in using Git
- Basic knowledge of Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, EazyBI) for data visualization
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Excellent self-organization skills and a high level of initiative
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
The following qualifications are considered an advantage:
- Basic knowledge of SQL databases
- Experience with Docker, REST APIs, and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions)
- Knowledge of software testing using Pytest or Unittest
- Understanding of software design principles (e.g., Clean Code, Modular Design)
