Working Student (PR & Partnerships)
You'll support Atari's local and European PR and partnership efforts in a fixed-term, part-time role of around 5–10 hours per week, with the possibility to extend the contract. You'll help with media outreach, announcement coordination, partner research, interview coordination, and communication around Atari's games, products, and regional activities. You'll work closely with the President Europe and Senior Director, Marcoms, while collaborating with internal teams across marketing, communications, publishing, partnerships, and product where needed.
Responsibilities
- Support local and countrywide PR outreach across Germany and Europe, building relationships with press, media contacts, creators, and industry stakeholders
- Draft, coordinate, and publish announcements across LinkedIn and other social platforms, including product news and partnership announcements
- Distribute announcements externally to journalists, media outlets, partners, and communities to increase visibility
- Identify and reach out to potential partners, PR partners, media partners, cultural institutions, and gaming communities
- Coordinate PR-related activities such as interviews, press briefings, media requests, follow-ups, scheduling, and internal alignment
- Monitor and support media coverage around Atari games, products, platforms, and initiatives
- Prepare press materials, briefings, outreach lists, communication summaries, and partner research
- Support high-impact communication around Atari's games, products, partnerships, and regional growth across Europe
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a university student, ideally in communications, marketing, media studies, business, PR, journalism, or a related field
- Advanced in your studies and ready to take ownership in a hands-on working student role
- Based in Münster or the surrounding area, with the ability to come to the office when needed
- First practical experience in PR, communications, marketing, journalism, social media, partnerships, or agency work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German
- Highly structured, organized, and reliable when managing outreach, follow-ups, coordination tasks, timelines, and communication materials
- Able to work independently in an environment where not every process is already defined
- Confident in researching and identifying relevant press contacts, potential partners, events, and communities
- Good understanding of LinkedIn and professional social media communication
- Experience with tools such as LinkedIn, Notion, Google Workspace, Excel/Sheets, CRM tools, or similar platforms
