Working Student Regulatory Compliance

Summary

A part-time student role assisting compliance consultants in drafting frameworks, performing risk assessments, and monitoring regulations like PSD2 and MiCAR for financial-sector clients in Rotterdam.

Job description

Introduction

Are you passionate about regulatory compliance and want to gain hands-on experience helping clients understand financial regulations? Compliance Champs is looking for a working student to support our consultants in helping clients understand and meet regulatory requirements.

Your role in our growth

You will work closely with our compliance consultants to support the development and implementation of compliance frameworks for our clients. This is an excellent opportunity to work on real client challenges, and gain hands-on experience in regulatory compliance consulting.

In this role, you will:

  • Support the drafting and implementation of compliance programs tailored to clients' needs;

  • Assist in performing risk assessments to help identify potential vulnerabilities and support the design of mitigation strategies and controls;

  • Monitor and analyze regulatory developments (e.g. PSD2, MiCAR, DORA, Wft, Wwft, GDPR) and help translate these into clear, practical summaries for the team;

  • Support consultants in preparing client deliverables, presentations, and internal documentation;

  • Assist in performing checks for clients on customer accounts and transactions using automated systems, and investigate unusual or suspicious patterns that may indicate money laundering, terrorist financing, or fraud.
