Working Student Software Developer (m/f/d)

About the Job

For our Team Service Hub we are looking for a working student to support us in further developing our digital service platform for tied agents and customers. You will contribute to our software products and actively collaborate within an agile, international development team.

What you do

• Help develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot, as well as frontend components with Angular/TypeScript
• Support the design and implementation of REST/RESTful APIs, including OpenAPI documentation
• Write and maintain unit tests (JUnit 5) and contribute to code quality assurance with SonarQube
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) as well as containerization and operations with Docker and Kubernetes
• Support monitoring and performance analysis of our services (Dynatrace, Grafana)
• Actively participate in agile ceremonies (Scrum), including pair programming and team collaboration
• Contribute to implementing security and data protection requirements in our applications

What you bring

• You can start immediately and are interested in a working student position - part time (16-20 h/week)
• Initial knowledge of Java/Spring Boot or JavaScript/TypeScript/Angular, plus basic HTML/CSS skills. Interest in testing, REST APIs, and agile ways of working (Scrum).
• Interest in AI and its application in modern software development. Basic understanding of Git and modern development tools is a plus.
• Very good knowledge of English and German.
• Studies: at least in your 5th Bachelor semester or enrolled in a Master's program in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills, team spirit, and enjoyment of collaborating in a diverse, international team.
• Curiosity about new technologies and an agile mindset.
