About the role
Sedna is maturing fast, and the way we support our people and our workplace needs to scale with us. We're looking for a Workplace and IT Service Desk Officer to join our People team and become the person who makes sure our teams, in London and across our smaller offices and remote timezones, always have what they need to do great work.
This is a brilliant next step for someone who's spent time in a couple of different fast-moving environments and is ready to bring that experience into a 150+ person, multi-location business. You won't just be maintaining what exists. You'll have real scope to build the structure, process, and polish that a scaling company needs, with the Head of People Operations there to support you on the bigger calls.
If you like ownership, enjoy variety, and want a role where IT, workplace, and people experience all come together, this is a great fit.
Your Responsibilities
IT, Asset & Vendor Management
You'll own the full IT asset lifecycle, including procurement, provisioning, tracking, returns, and disposal, keeping an accurate register across every region. You'll administer our SaaS licences in step with onboarding and offboarding, keep an eye on vendor spend and renewals, and flag anything that looks redundant or due for review. You'll also play a part in consolidating tools across acquired entities and keeping our Employee Wiki a genuinely useful source of truth for IT processes.
People Experience & Support
You'll shape onboarding and offboarding (via HiBob) from a workplace and tech perspective, making sure it feels smooth from day one. You'll work closely with People Ops to act on feedback from surveys and pulse checks. Once you're settled in, you'll take the lead on planning and delivering London social events, coordinating with regional leads so the rest of the business feels included too. You'll also get the chance to run employee lifecycle projects end to end, with support where you need it.
London & Regional Workplace Management
You'll keep our London office running well day to day: safe, stocked, welcoming, and ready for client visits, while managing relationships with our regional office providers. You'll support health & safety compliance, track office budgets, and keep the lease register in good shape, flagging key dates before they sneak up on anyone.
Compliance & Risk
You'll support our ISO 27001 and SOC 2 audits with asset, access, and provisioning evidence, and help keep internal policies and documentation current on the Employee Wiki. Where you spot a process that could be simpler or more consistent, you'll have the room to improve it.
What we're looking for
- Experience across two or three different fast-paced or scaling environments, ideally including exposure to a 150+ person business
- A track record of owning IT provisioning, asset management, or workplace operations end to end
- Comfort working cross-functionally with Leadership, Finance, and regional teams
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset: someone who finds a way through blockers rather than waiting to be told
- A developing commercial and process-oriented outlook, with the judgement to know when to escalate
Essential skills/experience
- Working knowledge of compliance practices including GDPR, health & safety.
- Naturally process and progress minded - you implement and improve processes within your scope and enjoy simplifying the complex, bringing in support from more senior colleagues when needed.
- Organised, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to data integrity.
Our Values
Finally, culture is important to us, so we also look for candidates who share our values:
Stay Ahead, Stay Agile
- We don’t just adapt-we anticipate change and act with confidence.
- Curiosity, data, and customer insights help us stay ahead of the curve.
- We embrace challenges as opportunities and remain resilient under pressure.

Execute With Focus
- We turn strategy into action, delivering measurable results that matter.
- Every initiative counts-discipline and ownership drive business impact.
- We make smart decisions with speed, balancing pace and precision.
- Clear priorities keep us focused on what moves the needle.
Work Together, Win Together
- Collaboration is our superpower-we succeed as one team, internally and with customers.
- We co-create solutions, seek feedback, and build the future of the OS together.
- Strong relationships are built on trust, respect, and shared goals.
- By aligning across teams and with customers, we unlock greater impact.
