Job Summary

Assist the project manager in identifying and remedying unsafe conditions and practices on site by implementing effective EHS measures and promoting a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct EHS inspections, toolbox meetings, and briefings regularly to ensure site safety compliance
  • Implement EHS programmes on construction sites to maintain safety standards
  • Advise site staff on EHS matters to promote awareness and adherence to safety protocols
  • Perform daily physical inspections of work environments and tools to identify hazards
  • Ensure compliance with relevant EHS legislation and company safety procedures
  • Implement and enforce new EHS measures issued by management promptly
  • Promote safe conduct among workers to reduce workplace incidents
  • Identify and rectify unsafe conditions and correct unsafe work practices immediately
  • Verify that all workers comply with the company’s EHS procedures and practices consistently
  • Oversee rectification works to ensure they are completed and maintained effectively
  • Train workers on safe work methods to enhance site safety culture
  • Maintain a safe workplace environment including housekeeping, lighting, and ventilation
  • Enforce the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) among all site personnel
