Workplace Safety and Health Coordinator

Job description

• Carry out duties as specified by WSH Act.
• Assist in the implementation of the HSE management system
• Ensure all site activities are carried out in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
• Carry out daily WSH inspections including machinery, equipment, plant, and installation.
• Identify WSH hazards and implement control measures.
• Ensure workers and sub-contractors comply with HSE Management System & applicable legal requirements.
• Maintain and monitor HSE records/ checklists.
• Participate and facilitate Internal/External audits.
• Investigate and report WSH all incidents & near misses.
• Conduct regular WSH and other related training.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Project Manager and Management.

Job requirements

• WSQ advance certificate in WSH with valid Refresher certificates
• Minimum2 years of relevant experience in building and construction safety management.
• A team player with and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of construction industry activities and safety requirements.
