Workplace Safety and Health Coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
Permit-to-Work (PTW) Management: Issue and strictly enforce PTW systems for high-risk activities including hot work, hacking, heavy lifting, and working at heights.
Demolition Method Statement Enforcement: Ensure the site team strictly follows the approved engineering sequence, load-bearing support installations, and dismantling steps.
Daily Site Inspections: Conduct rigorous site walks to check scaffolding, debris chutes, dust suppression systems, and proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Toolbox Meetings: Lead daily morning briefings focusing specifically on structural risks, heavy equipment pathways, and falling object hazards.
Incident Reporting: Investigate all near-misses and accidents, prepare detailed root-cause reports, and implement immediate corrective actions.
To perform any other ad hoc duties assigned from time to time.
Education & Certifications:
Valid WSQ Advanced Certificate in WSH (Level B) or equivalent MOM-recognized qualification.
Minimum 2–3 years of safety experience specifically within demolition, heavy structural hacking, or deep excavation projects.
