Workplace Safety and Health Coordinator (WSHC) - #Runway #Airport

Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise site safety, housekeeping and safe execution of works.
• Review risk assessments, method statements and ensure compliance with MOM/WSH and airport safety requirements.
• Conduct safety inspections, investigate incidents/infringements and prepare safety reports.
• Maintain daily safety records, toolbox meeting records, inspection records and site filing.
• Ensure excavation and hot works are carried out with approved permits and proper supervision.
• Coordinate with CAG/contractors on emergency response, safety meetings and airside safety matters.
• For airside works, inspect FOD, work boundaries, vehicle/personnel movements and compliance with AOS requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience as WSHC, preferably in airside, airport runway/taxiway, aerodrome infrastructure or similar operating environments.
• WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health (Level B) or equivalent.
• BCSS certificate.
• bizSAFE Level 2 / Develop a Risk Management Implementation Plan certification
• Certified in Occupational First Aid.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
