Oversee workplace safety and health compliance on construction sites in Singapore by conducting inspections, enforcing regulations, and investigating incidents.

Job Description

  • Ensure full compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act, Ministry of Manpower (MOM), and National Environment Agency (NEA) regulations
  • Conduct regular site inspections and comprehensive risk assessments
  • Identify potential hazards and implement effective corrective and preventive measures
  • Enforce safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices across all site activities
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare detailed reports with recommendations
  • Lead safety briefings, toolbox meetings
  • Maintain accurate safety records, and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety gear
  • Liaise with Project Managers, supervisors, and relevant authorities on safety matters
  • Monitor and supervise high-risk activities, including lifting operations and work at height operations

Job Requirements

  • Relevant experience in construction industry preferred
  • Good knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations and safety standards
  • Strong attention to detail and enforcement ability
  • Good communication and reporting skills
  • Able to work on-site and handle multiple locations if required
  • A MOM registered Safety Officer
