Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Coordinator

We are an established engineering firm specializing in industrial environmental engineering and exhaust treatment systems. We have recently secured a landmark multi-million dollar installation project (Scrubbers, RTO, Stack) for a top-tier pharmaceutical MNC facility in Singapore.

We are seeking a proactive and qualified WSH Supervisor or Manager to join our team for the upcoming project commencement in August 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing safety policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring 100% compliance with MOM regulations and the client's stringent safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the management and WSH Officer in implementing and maintaining the Workplace Safety and Health management system on-site.
  • Conduct daily site safety inspections, identify hazardous acts/conditions, and implement immediate corrective actions.
  • Conduct Toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and ensure all site workers are equipped with proper PPE.
  • Prepare and review Risk Assessments (RA) and Method Statements (MOS), specifically for high-risk activities such as lifting operations, working at height, and hot works.
  • Assist the Company Director in advancing the company’s bizSAFE certification (from Level 2 to Level 3 / Star) based on project execution.
  • Maintain all safety records, incident reports, and permit-to-work (PTW) documentations required by both MOM and the client.

Requirements:

  • Must possess Advanced Certificate in WSH (Level B) / BCSS (Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course) / OPISC.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of safety supervision experience in Construction, Manufacturing, or Pharmaceutical plant projects.
  • Familiarity with industrial ventilation, exhaust systems, or chemical plant safety is a major advantage.
  • Good communication skills in English to liaise with client safety managers and prepare site documentation.
  • Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents (PR) preferred (to facilitate immediate onboarding for August).
