Job Description:

  • Report to Project Director, Manager (Projects), WSHE Manager (Projects) / WSHO and ECO.
  • Provides assistance to the WSHO & ECO in tasks assigned by the WSHO & ECO / Project Manager.
  • In the absence of the WSHO & ECO, performs the above mentioned prescribed duties of the WSHO & ECO.
  • Carry out daily inspections
  • Functions as one of the Site EHS Assessors in verification of the hazardous works operated under assessing PTW.
  • Conduct EHS induction course for new employees and contractors.
  • Ensure that Risk Assessment and Safe Work Procedure & Environmental Aspect & Impact Register briefed to workers and sub-contractor.
  • Ensure worker and sub-contractor comply with EHS Management System.
  • Participate and facilitate in ISO Management System / CONSASS and auditing.
  • Investigate and report WSH incidents & near misses.
  • Coordinate implementation of emergency preparedness and response plans.
  • Measure, monitor and report WSH performance.
  • Administer WSH Policy
  • Identify WSH hazards and implement control measures.
  • Coordinate WSH Management System with legal compliance.
  • Promote WSH culture development
  • Facilitate effective communication and engagement at the workplace.
  • Solve problems and make decisions at supervisory level.

Job Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of working experience in the construction industry - civil infrastructure project would be an advantage
  • Possess Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH)
  • Good knowledge in ISO and OSHA safety standards
