Workplace Safety Health Officer (WSHO)

Summary
Oversee workplace safety and health at construction sites, performing risk assessments, enforcing safety protocols, and maintaining compliance with regulations.
Job Descriptions
- Actively conduct risk assessments at project site and recommend measures to minimize and eliminate possible risks to any person.
- Work closely with different teams to implement and maintain a strong safety regime on site.
- Conduct toolbox meeting and ensure the permit to work system in place.
- Work closely with different teams to implement and maintain a strong safety regime on site environment and practice of Company's QEHS Management System/WSH Act/Occupational safety and health at all times.
- Reporting to the WSH Manager, you will liaise closely with Project Managers on workplace safety, health and environmental issues to maintain a high level of safety at the sites.
- Ability to lead and advise on safety programs.
- Review and maintain site's WSH records.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
- Holding Certificate in WSH Coordinator Course/ Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course and/or any Relevant Safety Certificates from any approved institutions will be preferred.
- With at least 5 years of working experiences in the construction industry.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressures in a fast pace environment.
- Working location at Tuas site.
