Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) Cum Environmental Control Officer (ECO)
Summary
Oversee workplace safety, health, and environmental compliance on construction sites, conducting audits, managing permits, and ensuring regulatory adherence for infrastructure projects.
Roles & Responsibilities Safety Management
• Implement Workplace Safety & Health Management System.
• Conduct site safety inspections and audits.
• Review and maintain:
o RA
o SWP
o Method Statements
o Permit Systems
• Conduct toolbox meetings.
• Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with MOM requirements. Environmental Management
• Implement Environmental Management Plans.
• Monitor: o Noise o Dust o Waste handling o Water pollution control
• Prepare environmental reports.
• Ensure compliance with NEA and environmental regulations.
Project Support Support activities involving:
• Utility Detection
• Trial Trenching
• Traffic Management
• GIS Survey Activities
• Utility Verification Works
Requirements
• Registered WSH Officer approved by MOM.
• ECO Certification recognised in Singapore.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
• Experience in infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
• Familiar with LTA, PUB and MOM requirements.Preferred Experience
• LTA Projects.• Utility works.
• Trial trenching projects.
• Road and infrastructure contracts
