Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) - East
Working Hours: 44hrs/Week
Location: East Side
Job Scope:
1. Safety Audits: Conduct audits at various workplaces and provide reports with recommendations
2. Safety Meetings: Attend WSH committee meetings and provide secretarial support
3. WSH Advice: Offer expert advice on risk assessments, compliance, and regulations
4. Incident Investigation: Investigate incidents and submit detailed reports
5. Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies within 2 hours and non-urgent issues within 2 working days
6. Additional Services: Provide ad-hoc audits as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
1. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO)
2. MOM registration as a WSHO
3. Proven track record in WSH audits and compliance (2020-2024)
4. Experience in various industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, and hospitality
Key Skills and Knowledge:
1. WSH regulations: Deep understanding of WSHA and related regulations
2. Audit and investigation: Proficiency in safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
3. Communication: Strong reporting, advisory, and training skills
4. Emergency response: Ability to respond quickly to safety issues
5. WSH management systems: Familiarity with SS ISO 45001:2018
6. Compliance documentation: Skill in maintaining legal registers and compliance documentation.
