Workshop Controller

Automotive/Motor Trade Workshop Controller required for our client a very busy main dealership based in the South West London area.

The Role:

• Responsible for the efficient running of the workshop
• Delegating workloads to Technicians and increasing productivity
• Managing customer expectations, job profitability and workshop productivity targets
• Liaising with Service Department to keep them informed of progress and advising on any additional work that needs carrying out
• Planning and organising hours to sell and drive labour sales
• Delegating workloads to productive staff in a workshop
• Gaining authorisation from customers to carry out additional work
• Ensure that service and repair work is completed to time and quality standards

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role with experience of running a busy workshop
• A proven background as a Workshop Manager or an experienced Service Manager within a main dealership environment
• Ability to motivate and train staff whilst maintaining targets and deadlines
