The Company...

Reliable Hire is a locally owned and operated company that supplies specialist rental equipment to the building & construction industry in the Wide Bay and Fraser Coast regions. They are currently seeking a fit and enthusiastic person to join their Bundaberg team to work as a Field Service/ Workshop Mechanic.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Current open manual driver’s license
  
• High Risk (LF) Forklift ticket
  
• Mechanical trade certificate (Experience in petrol and diesel)
  
• Construction White Card
  
• A high risk (WP) over 11m (would be an advantage)
  
• Electrical test and tag certificate (would be an advantage)
  

Responsibilities will Include:

• Onsite breakdown & repairs.
  
• Undertake fault finding and diagnostics across a variety of petrol and diesel equipment.
  
• Loading & Unloading of plant & equipment to both customers and transport contractors. This will include forklift operation & being able to communicate and instruct customers in the safe operation of equipment.
  
• Washing and cleaning of equipment, General yard hand duties & housekeeping.
  
• Maintain Logbooks, service history and complete all the necessary paperwork needed to comply with legislation.
  
• Keep customers informed in relation to their equipment service requirements and responsibilities.
  
• Play an active role in helping to achieve company goals and objectives.
  
• Be a forward thinker with the ability to work fast-paced environment.
