Workshop Supervisor

• Supervise daily workshop activities and assign work to technicians.
• Monitor repair, servicing, and preventive maintenance of vehicles and heavy equipment.
• Diagnose and follow up on breakdowns to minimize equipment downtime.
• Ensure vehicles and equipment are maintained in safe and working condition.
• Coordinate spare parts, tools, and external repair requirements.
• Maintain workshop records, job cards, service history, and breakdown reports.
• Coordinate with Operations regarding equipment availability and mobilization.
• Ensure technicians follow company safety procedures and proper repair practices.
• Monitor workshop staff performance, attendance, and productivity.
• Report major breakdowns, pending repairs, and maintenance requirements to management.
• Receiving vehicle, identifying the issue in a professional way.
• Dealing with suppliers for spare parts.
• Maintaining Employees record and assist in their movement.

Skills

• Strong knowledge in vehicle diagnostics, mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Experience in waste management services vehicles is an advantage.
• Ability to supervise and lead technicians and workshop staff.
• Good knowledge of workshop operations, job allocation, and productivity management.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Familiarity with workshop management systems and repair procedures.
• UAE driving license is must.
• Ability to communicate with vehicle drivers specially in Hindi.
