Workshop Technician
Summary
Maintains and calibrates lab instruments, prepares equipment for field service, and manages workshop logistics in a gas-analysis facility.
- Organise the packaging and shipment of instrumentation and equipment.
- Receive and offload deliveries from couriers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop and warehouse environment.
- Assist engineers in preparing equipment for field service activities.
- Carry out basic servicing, maintenance, and calibration of instrumentation.
- Support analyser repairs, system assembly, and workshop projects.
- Assist with utility gas management and workshop operations.
- Follow SGS procedures, quality standards, and health and safety requirements at all times.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- Practical, hands-on, and comfortable working with tools and equipment.
- Logical, organised, and naturally inclined towards problem-solving.
- Able to follow procedures accurately and consistently.
- Team-oriented with a positive and flexible attitude.
- Punctual, reliable, and willing to take initiative.
- Detail-focused with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Curious about engineering, gas analysis, and instrumentation technologies.
- Fluent in English (additional languages are an advantage).
