Te tūranga – The role

As the Workspace Lead you are responsible for Workspace management and related Service Contracts across Wellington and Auckland sites. The role also supports the wider property team (for cover or specific projects) in their management of RBNZ assets from a landlord perspective.

Day to day you will:

  • Partner with business units to deliver workplace solutions that meet operational needs and enhance the employee experience.

  • Oversee workplace and building environments, conducting inspections and coordinating maintenance and improvement projects with suppliers.

  • Manage and track property-related activities through to completion, ensuring stakeholders are informed and outcomes are delivered on time.

  • Provide expert advice on property and facilities management, sustainability initiatives, budget planning, and future workplace requirements.

If you're a proactive facilities or property professional who enjoys solving problems, driving improvements, and delivering high-quality workplace environments, in a fast paced professional environment then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Proven experience working in a Workspace Management, or Facilities Management role

  • A solid understanding of the Building Act and codes of compliance

  • A solid understanding of Health and Safety relating to the built environment and Contractor (PCBU) Management

  • Procurement and on-going contract management experience.

  • Good organisational and time management skills, ideally with Project Management experience.

  • Financial acumen.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
