Writer Reporter

Main duties:

• Gather information and opinions for stories, and verify information
• Work, review, edit, and deliver assigned stories & reports as assigned by producers
• Write and record voice-over LVO for the assigned stories and breaking news.
• Develop creative ideas for the final presentation of news through a combination of illustration, maps & graphics with the story, as well as writing the script only after viewing the available video.
• Propose ideas to be covered from the field (news, stories & features) in coordination with the team
• Advise or coach fellow colleagues as and when required
