Job Description

  • Conduct daily workplace safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions within the precast factory.
  • Implement and monitor compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Prepare, review, and update Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), and safety documentation.
  • Monitor high-risk activities, including lifting operations, crane activities, machinery operation, and work-at-height.
  • Conduct safety inductions, toolbox meetings, and WSH training programs for employees and subcontractors.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain safety records, workers' certifications, equipment inspection reports, and statutory compliance documents.
  • Coordinate with management, auditors, clients, and government authorities on safety inspections, audits, and compliance matters.

REQUIREMENT

  • Diploma, Higher Nitec, or equivalent qualification in Workplace Safety & Health, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Possess a valid WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH Coordinator) or equivalent MOM-recognized qualification.
    Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in a precast factory, construction, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environment.
  • Good knowledge of Singapore WSH Act, WSH Regulations, Risk Assessment (RA), and Safe Work Procedures (SWP).
  • Experience in conducting safety inspections, incident investigations, safety training, and compliance audits.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and report-writing skills, with the ability to work effectively with workers, supervisors, and management.
