WSH Officer
Job Description
- Implement and enforce Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies, procedures, and regulations on site.
- Conduct daily site inspections to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
- Prepare and review Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), and Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems.
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox meetings, and WSH training for employees and subcontractors.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend preventive measures.
- Liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors on WSH matters.
- Maintain WSH records, safety statistics, and prepare weekly/monthly safety reports.
- Support safety audits, emergency drills, and ensure compliance with MOM requirements
- Inspection of site to ensure all facilities and equipment relevant to the maintenance are in proper working condition and do not pose any hazard
- Any other ad hoc duties assigned from time to time
Requirements
- Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM Singapore.
- Possess a Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Good knowledge of Singapore WSH Act, Regulations, and Codes of Practice.
- Strong communication, coordination, and incident investigation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and preparation of safety reports and documentation.
