Join Our Team – WSH Officer
We are seeking a proactive WSH Officer to lead workplace safety initiatives and ensure WSH compliance across our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain the company's Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Management System, policies, procedures, and programmes.
- Ensure compliance with the WSH Act, WSH Regulations, MOM requirements, Codes of Practice, and other statutory requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and workplace observations to identify hazards and unsafe practices.
- Develop, review, and implement Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWPs), Risk Management Plans, and Method Statements.
- Monitor high-risk work activities and ensure appropriate control measures are in place.
- Advise management, supervisors, and workers on workplace safety requirements and risk control measures.
- Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, WSH training, and safety induction programmes.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness exercises, evacuation drills, and rescue exercises.
- Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor the implementation and closure of corrective actions arising from inspections and investigations.
- Maintain WSH records, inspection reports, incident reports, training records, and statutory documentation.
- Liaise with MOM, WSH Council, clients, consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities on WSH matters.
- Participate in WSH committee meetings and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with site safety requirements.
- Conduct PPE inspections and ensure proper usage of personal protective equipment.
- Monitor workplace environmental conditions, including noise, dust, heat stress, lighting, and ventilation where applicable.
- Support company WSH campaigns and safety initiatives to strengthen the safety culture.
- Prepare WSH reports, safety statistics, and management updates.
- Stop or escalate unsafe work where there is an imminent risk to workers' safety and health.
- Perform other WSH-related duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Environmental, Health & Safety or a related discipline.
- Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM is mandatory. ECO certification will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant WSH experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- Good knowledge of Singapore WSH legislation, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Able to provide hands-on support at project sites while driving continuous EHS improvements.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.

Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Alternate Saturday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
