WSHC Safety Coordinator
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Company Management, safety manager and safety officer in overseeing all safety, health and environmental matter.
- Advise the various managers in charge of all company worksite, including project sites, stores, workshop / warehouse, head office (HQ) on all workplace safety, health and environmental issues in accordance with prevailing Singapore laws and Government Regulations.
- Conduct regular and ad-hoc site inspections regularly and report any safety and health findings to the Management and respective Managers in charge of the work sites.
- Attend to and investigate any incidents of such nature, which cause bodily injuries to any person working in the site.
- Assist to organize safety campaigns, safety talks or any relevant safety promotional activities supported by site project manager or any other persons in charge of the work sites.
- Discuss any non-compliance findings on safety with the safety Manager, respective managers or any other persons in charge of the work sites.
- Maintain copies of the relevant acts and other legislation for site reference as issued by occupier, respective Managers or any other person in charge of the work sites.
- Ensure that respective site safety & health related documentation are compiled, collated and maintained as required by the relevant acts and legislations.
- Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by safety Manager or management of the company.
Job Requirements:
- At least GCE “O” level with advanced certificate in WSH or diploma related to Workplace Safety and Health.
- Meticulous, responsible, proactive and able to work independently.
- Good communication and interpersonal relationship skills, able to communicate with all levels of employees as well as business associates.
- Able to work independently, multitask, good team player and work in fast paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications (MS Office, MS Excel and etc).
- Minimum 1-2 years’ relevant working experience in the construction industry.
- Prior experience in construction safety and added additional safety-related courses will be an added advantage.
- Strong sense of responsibility, initiative, commitment to site safety compliance, incident investigation and MOM regulations.
- Able to work on-site and under pressure.
