WSHO cum FSM

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and implement periodical various worksite safety inspection and observation on personnel safety, hazard identification, risk assessment, job safety analysis, incident investigation & analysis.

  • Implementation of workplace safety & Health and Environment Management System at work site.

  • Ensure all Health & safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed, updated and communicated.

  • To implement and review risk assessments for operational activities

  • Ensure all incidents are documented, investigated and recommend improvement whenever required. Implementation preventive measures and carried out incident investigation.

  • Meet clients and provide advice on all HSE aspects. Work collaboratively with client’s HSE team in the pursuit of mutual trust, share visions and common goals

  • Implement and execute safety improvement programs to promote safety awareness and commitment in employees and contractors when required.

  • Assist in internal/external audits and liaise with the relevant authorities.

  • Maintain records of all issues related to HSE, analyses and recommend areas of improvement.

  • Liaise and coordinate with SCDF and Qualified Person (QP) on all matters relating to fire safety and its requirements.

  • Conduct & coordinate fire drills and table-top exercise in the premise and evaluate the effectiveness of such exercises and drills

  • Provide Fire and Workplace safety training to staff and support departmental or company events and evaluate the effectiveness.

  • Coordinate and provide fire training to staff (example, fire extinguishers and hose reels training)

  • Comply with SCDF role and responsibilities for FSM.

  • Ensure efficient and effective maintenance of Client's facilities, based on fire safety guidelines, through routine check and preventive maintenance strategies

  • Source, negotiate and follow up with fire alarm Contractors on repair and replacement work to ensure work is done according to fire safety specifications.

Requirements:

  • Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM and minimum 3 years’ relevant experience.

  • Minimum 2 years of practicing experience as a Fire Safety Manager (FSM) certified by SCDF

  • Good communication skills, team player and independent.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Words, Excel and Power Point.
