WSO2 API Manager Architect

About the role

At Grupo NS, we select technology professionals to participate in digital transformation and technological evolution projects. We are looking to incorporate an API Architect specialized in WSO2 to participate in the design, definition, and evolution of integration architectures and API management.

We are looking for a senior, autonomous profile with solid technical experience, capable of defining architectural solutions and participating in their implementation, guaranteeing best practices, security, scalability, and quality.

What you'll do

• Design and define API architectures and integration solutions between applications and legacy systems.
• Implement, configure, and evolve WSO2 API Manager.
• Define standards, patterns, and best practices for API design and development.
• Govern the API lifecycle: design, publication, versioning, security, and evolution.
• Design REST and SOAP APIs, using OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
• Define security policies, traffic management, and API Gateway configuration.
• Technically supervise development teams and provide specialized support.
• Review and validate architectural designs, ensuring their alignment with established standards.
• Prepare technical documentation and participate in the continuous improvement of integration solutions.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in integration architecture and API management.
• Demonstrable experience and advanced knowledge in WSO2 API Manager.
• Experience in REST/SOAP API design and OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
• Knowledge of microservices architectures and integration patterns.
• Experience in API security: OAuth 2.0, JWT, and OpenID Connect.
• Knowledge of API Gateway, traffic management, and security policies.
• Knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Cloud environments.
• Ability to define technical solutions, make architectural decisions, and support teams during implementation.

Nice to have

• Experience with WSO2 Micro Integrator.
• Knowledge of other API Management platforms.
• Participation in technological modernization projects and transformation of integration architectures.
• Experience in distributed environments and high-availability architectures.
• Ability to identify technical improvements and propose scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
