X2 Senior Solution Architect, 6M CONTRACT, Insurance

Salary: Syd CBD, 6M Contract-EXT. $1000-$1190+Super.Hybrid

We have a X2 (6M Contract - EXT) Lead / Senior Solution Architect roles available.

1. Lead Solution Architect – focus on Claims Document Management, Inbound & Outbound Communications. This requires experience in Customer Communication Channel including Policies, Claims, Customer Experience in Claims, Customer Interaction Management
2. Lead Solution Architect – Focus on Digital, Broker / Distribution Channel / Intermediary Channel. This requires Insurance Broker and Underwriting Experience, ideally experience with Aggregators, any Sunrise or Steadfast experience is desirable.

You will be working on a very large scale General Insurance Transformation Program upgrading Legacy Systems to Cloud.

In this role you will be responsible for leading High Level E2E Solution Design with a focus on Digital Transformation.

You will influence and engage with C-Level Stakeholders.

You will work in a SAFe Agile Framework, interacting with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, BA's and Enterprise Architects.


Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with enterprise architecture to ensure solutions align with IT strategy, and contribute to the architectural roadmap by performing security assessments and producing and evaluating solution designs for internal projects.
• Contribute to strategy, principles, policies and roadmaps for assigned solutions.
• Drive conceptual design strategies by reviewing architecture work products to ensure quality, traceability, effectiveness and timeliness of the solution design process.
• Facilitate, advise and collaborate with third-party service providers to ensure that all IT designs align with Enterprise Architecture principles and roadmaps, and deliver the desired outcome.
• Partner with business stakeholders and project teams to translate business and technical requirements into detailed solution designs which incorporate people, process and technology aspects.

Essential Experience:

• Extensive E2E Solution Architecture Experience
• Strong General Insurance Domain Experience (Essential)
• Strong Experience in either General Insurance Claims OR Digital Broker / Distribution Channel (Essential)
• Strong Digital Transformation Experience
• Excellent Communication Skills & Busines Stakeholder Management Skills
• Proven ability to engage at C-Level
• Solution / Application / Data Architecture Experience
• Experience in Large Scale Digital Transformation Programs
• Understanding of Enterprise Architecture
• Understanding of Emerging Architecture & Intentional Architecture
• Understanding of Customer Centric Architecture Definitions
• TOGAF Certified
• Trained in SAFe Agile Methodology
• Software Engineering background (Preferred)
• Relevant Tertiary Qualifications
