Get to Know the Role
As Assistant Manager for the Application Engineering team in LSI Blanks based in Taiwan, you act as the liaison for technical communication and coordination between customers and the internal team. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with the team at the main factory to resolve issues and provide effective solutions to customers. It is essential to have the ability to support communication and maintain relationships with customers, especially with the customer lithography team. In this position, you will work closely with other teams, technology partners, and vendors to develop unique Optical/EUV blanks that meet the device requirements for next-generation semiconductors.

Essential Responsibilities
•Facilitate effective communication and ensure alignment between customer requirements and internal teams.
•Manage and resolve quality issues related to photomasks, coordinating with relevant teams to drive timely and effective solutions.
•Address customer complaints and manage quality cases involving returned products, including investigation and follow-up on corrective actions.
•Lead regular meetings and technical discussions with both domestic and international customers to understand their requirements and concerns.
•Identify customer challenges and provide alternative technology solutions, working closely with internal teams to address technical matters and meet customer needs.
•Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, strengthening customer engagement and positioning as a preferred technical partner.

Skills and Competencies Profile
•Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Solid State Physics, or a related engineering or physical science discipline.
•5-7 years of relevant work experience in the semiconductor industry.
•Experience with lithography technology and mask processes is a strong plus.
•Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English is required, as the role involves frequent communication with international customers.
