XML Data Automation Engineer (ID: 3765)
As a Platform DevOps Engineer, You Will:
- Develop and maintain XQuery and XPath logic for XML-driven synchronization and validation processes.
- Work extensively with XML databases to ensure data consistency, reliability, correctness, and performance optimization.
- Support automation of deployment, configuration management, and operational processes within cloud-based environments.
- Contribute to the packaging, release management, and operational support of platform components.
- Perform root cause analysis for synchronization and validation issues across enterprise content systems.
- Support monitoring, maintenance, and day-to-day operational activities of XML automation platforms running on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve automation, scalability, and reliability of XML-based workflows.
- Ensure stable and scalable XML data operations within distributed cloud-native environments.
- Participate in DevOps initiatives focused on operational excellence, automation, and continuous improvement.
What You Bring to the Table:
- 8–10 years of experience in XML technologies, DevOps engineering, and automation-focused environments.
- Strong hands‑on expertise with XQuery and XPath.
- Extensive experience working with XML databases such as MarkLogic, BaseX, or eXist-db.
- Strong understanding of XML data modeling, querying, validation, and synchronization processes.
- Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible.
- Strong shell scripting experience using Bash.
- Hands‑on experience with RPM packaging and Linux operational environments.
- Practical experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills related to XML-driven enterprise platforms.
- Familiarity with Java applications, particularly within XML processing or integration-heavy environments, is highly preferred.
- Experience working within DevOps and cloud operations environments.
