We are looking for a Purchasing Contracts Specialist to join Figma’s growing Procurement team. This role is the operational engine of our Source-to-Pay process — ensuring every deal that comes out of sourcing is executed accurately, compliantly, and efficiently. You will own the transactional layer of procurement: contracts, purchase orders, supplier engagement, and deal completion, partnering closely with the Purchasing Contracts Specialist focused on category strategy to deliver a seamless purchasing experience for the business.

Redline and correct legal entity names, addresses, bill-to details, payment terms, and MSA references to reduce Legal touchpoints and accelerate contract cycles

Review and develop scopes of work and service specifications in partnership with business stakeholders

Oversee signature management processes to ensure timely and compliant execution of agreements

Collaborate with Legal, Finance, GRC, and other stakeholders to resolve contract blockers and move deals forward

Maintain accurate contract records and ensure executed agreements are properly filed and tracked in the contract lifecycle management system

Purchasing Operations & PO Management

Ensure end-to-end purchasing and workflow accuracy by reviewing and validating purchase requests and performing QA to correct data, cost details, and inconsistencies

Work with requestors to ensure proper documentation is submitted through the right channels in Figma’s procurement platform (Zip)

Partner with AP to facilitate shadow purchase orders, change orders, and PO close activities

Communicate with suppliers and business stakeholders to shepherd deals from initiation through completion

Support business stakeholders in researching supplier-related issues including contracts, payments, and performance

Process Quality & Compliance

Develop accurate scopes of work and ensure purchasing documentation meets internal standards prior to routing

Identify recurring workflow errors and partner with Procurement Operations to improve intake quality and reduce rework

Support quarterly procurement compliance reviews and contribute to SOX-related audit documentation as needed

Contribute to continuous improvement of Source-to-Pay processes, surfacing bottlenecks and recommending practical fixes

Bachelor’s degree, preferably with an analytical focus (Marketing, Economics, Accounting, Supply Chain, etc.)

5–8 years of relevant experience in procurement, contracts administration, or supply chain, ideally in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Experience reviewing and developing SOWs, order forms, and other procurement-related documentation

Demonstrated experience in procurement contracting and negotiating with suppliers

Familiarity with contract lifecycle management tools (e.g., Ironclad) and procurement platforms (e.g., Zip, Coupa, or Ariba)

Experience working with Marketing, IT, HR, Finance, and general business commodities

Strong customer service aptitude and collaboration-focused mindset

Strong Excel and analytics skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience with ZIP, NetSuite or similar ERP for PO and invoice management

Familiarity with Figma’s toolstack: Zip, Ironclad, NetSuite, Notion

Exposure to SOX procurement compliance requirements
