XTN-54BB595 | SENIOR FINANCE OPERATIONS MANAGER / SITE LEAD
Posted
Description
Reporting to the Director of Order to Cash, you will establish and lead Checkr's Manila finance operations site, growing it from a founding team to fifteen to twenty people delivering across the finance operations portfolio with order to cash at its core. You will own the site end to end: defining the organisational shape, hiring and developing the leaders beneath you, leading the transition of work into Manila, and holding the service levels Checkr's monthly close depends on. You will partner daily with AR and Billing Operations, Credit and Collections, Revenue Accounting and Finance Transformation as Checkr scales its finance operations toward public company readiness.
- HMO on Day 1
- Group Life Insurance
- Fixed weekends off
- Leave credits
- Build the Manila site from founding team to fifteen to twenty people across the finance operations portfolio: define the organisational shape, hire and onboard, appoint and develop team leads, and establish a named backup for every recurring deliverable and control role.
- Lead the transition of finance operations work into Manila function by function: document each process as it lands rather than afterwards, run it in parallel before cutover, and demonstrate stability against agreed service levels before taking full ownership.
- Deliver the site's close commitments every month, including the credit request queue current by business day one, the accounts receivable subledger closed by business day two, and the aging, rollforward and settlement data delivered to US Accounting on the close calendar.
- Own site performance end to end: service level attainment, quality, capacity planning, engagement and attrition, with transparent reporting to US function leads and early escalation when a commitment is at risk.
- Operate and evidence the finance operations control set in scope for the site, including the credit and write-off approval matrix and the monthly review of adjustments approved within individual limits, producing control evidence external auditors can sample without manual assembly.
- Partner with Finance Transformation on automating reconciliations, tie-outs and exception reporting, so that growth in transaction volume is absorbed by systems rather than by headcount as the revenue and COGS subledgers come online.
- Twelve or more years in finance operations or accounting, including five or more leading teams and leaders, with experience standing up or materially scaling a captive or global business services site supporting a US parent.
- Breadth across more than one finance operations tower with real depth in order to cash, covering cash application, billing operations, and credit and collections, and the judgment to tell an operational exception from an accounting one.
- CPA or equivalent, with working knowledge of US GAAP and experience operating inside a SOX or ICFR control environment, including balance sheet reconciliation review and external audit support.
- Proven transition leadership: process documentation, parallel run, defined cutover criteria, and the discipline to delay a cutover that is not ready even when the calendar says otherwise.
- Hands-on experience with an enterprise ERP, Oracle Fusion preferred, and a close management platform, FloQast preferred, with the comfort to work alongside data and automation partners rather than relying on spreadsheets.
- An A-player mindset with a strong bias for action: you raise the bar, move with urgency, stay resilient through ambiguity, and take ownership to deliver meaningful outcomes.
