Do you enjoy working with children and creating a place where they feel supported, included and excited to be? The Kenosha YMCA is looking for a School-Age Childcare Lead Teacher to help create a fun, safe and engaging before and after school experience for children ages 5–12 at The Kenosha YMCA.
What You'll Do
- Plan, conduct, and participate in recreational activities with the group.
- Ensure health and safety of each youth.
- Greet parents upon arrival pick up/drop off.
- Maintain site, equipment, and supplies.
- Assist with the supervision of guest teachers/intern, if applicable.
- Prepare provided food daily.
- Ensure all children are accounted for including youth in extra-curricular activities.
- Participate in training sessions and staff meetings as scheduled.
- Sub at other School Age sites or in the Early Childhood Program as necessary.
