NewBe an early applicantThe Yacht Sales Specialist is responsible for generating yacht sales through proactive client relationship management, market expertise, and exceptional service. This role involves identifying potential buyers and sellers, conducting yacht valuations, negotiating contracts, and ensuring a smooth transaction process from listing to closing. The ideal candidate combines deep knowledge of the yachting industry with outstanding interpersonal and sales skills.
Sales & Client Relations
• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing yacht owners, buyers, and charter clients.
• Identify client needs and match them with suitable yachts, both new and pre-owned.
• Conduct yacht showings, sea trials, and attend boat shows or industry events to promote inventory.
• Negotiate offers and close sales transactions in alignment with company policies and legal requirements.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients to build long-term loyalty and referral business.
Listing & Brokerage
• Source and secure listings for pre-owned yachts through prospecting and networking.
• Create compelling yacht listings with accurate specifications, photos, and marketing materials.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to execute sales campaigns and online promotions.
• Stay informed on market trends, competitor pricing, and industry developments.
Administrative & Compliance
• Manage CRM databases, ensuring accurate client and vessel records.
• Coordinate survey, documentation, financing, and registration processes with relevant parties.
• Ensure all transactions comply with maritime regulations and company standards.
Requirements
Required Qualifications & Skills
• Proven experience in yacht sales, luxury sales, or marine brokerage (2–5 years preferred).
• In-depth knowledge of yacht types, manufacturers, and marine terminology.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to travel frequently for client meetings, sea trials, and boat shows.
• Familiarity with yacht brokerage software and CRM systems (e.g., YachtCloser, BoatWizard).
• SOFT ONE CRM knowledge is a plus
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• Certifications such as CPYB (Certified Professional Yacht Broker) are an asset.
