Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Yard Associate to support our construction operations by maintaining an organized, clean, and safe yard. This role is responsible for assisting with material handling, equipment organization, loading and unloading deliveries, and ensuring the yard is ready to support field operations.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
- Organize and maintain the yard, storage areas, and inventory.
- Receive, inspect, and stage incoming deliveries.
- Prepare materials and equipment for field crews.
- Keep the yard, shop, and work areas clean and free of debris.
- Properly dispose of trash and other waste materials.
- Assist with moving materials using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts (if certified).
- Conduct routine inspections of tools and equipment and report any damage or maintenance needs.
- Follow all company safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.
- Perform general labor duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Communicate effectively with team members and maintain a positive attitude.
