Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Yard Mule Driver to join our team in Highlands, TX. The Yard Mule Driver will be responsible for moving trailers and equipment within the yard, ensuring efficient and safe operations. This role requires attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to operate yard mules and other related equipment safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate yard mule vehicles to move trailers and equipment within the yard.
• Inspect yard mule and equipment before and after use to ensure proper working condition.
• Position trailers for loading and unloading as directed.
• Communicate effectively with yard supervisors and other team members to coordinate movements.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain accurate records of trailer movements and equipment usage.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience operating yard mules, forklifts, or similar equipment preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions carefully.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including climbing on and off equipment and working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Work Environment

This position is primarily outdoors in a yard setting. The role requires standing, walking, and operating machinery for extended periods. Safety gear and personal protective equipment will be provided and must be worn at all times.
