About the Company...
The company is a well-established Australian-owned and operated firm that possesses a large inventory of small to medium-sized lifting equipment and machines for the construction and mining industries. Being that they are committed to offering great services; and while providing tailored solutions for their dependable equipment, they have seen an increased demand for their services. This increasing demand has resulted in a need for a Yard person to ensure customer expectations are met.
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Assisting the maintenance, service and repair of elevated work platforms (EWP's) and boom lifts
- Assist with the pre-delivery checks of machines
- Providing support to the technician as required
- General cleaning duties and overall presentation of the workshop
- Maintain attention to detail and safety
The Ideal Candidate…
Given that this position requires someone with strong customer service skills, your ability to communicate with customers effectively and in a professional manner is essential. The successful candidate will need to be:
- Effective in time management
- Able to demonstrate technical problem solving ability
- Customer and safety focussed
- Able to work autonomously
- Familiar with EWP, mobile plant or related industries (an advantage, however training will be provided)
