Yard Truck Driver (Class A CDL) - Tampa - Crosstown

Job Summary: Performs various driver functions including moving trailers to and from the dock as directed by dispatch and running the trash compactor, metal container, furniture container, or the cardboard container as needed. Also responsible for making runs to solid waste facilities with furniture or compactor trash as needed. In addition, keeps all box trucks and/or trailers organized and moved out of the dock area as they are completed throughout the day. Requires additional safety and operational training for driving roll-off vehicle. Follows all Department of Transportation (DOT) road regulations in the course of driving trucks with loaded vehicle weight in excess of 26,001 pounds and up to 80,000 pounds of total gross weight.

Job Requirements: Possess a valid Florida Driver's License, Class A CDL, subject to a DMV records check and approval by GIS insurance carrier. Minimum of two years of current and verifiable tractor/trailer truck driving experience. High school diploma/GED or equivalent desired. Subject to alcohol and drug testing. Subject to criminal history background checks.
